4 sets x 10, 8, 6, 4 reps
Note: You will rest for 1-2 minutes in between sets.
SMITH MACHINE SQUATS: *If you are comfortable performing barbell squats then do those instead. Complete 10-15 reps with just the bar as a warmup. Then load weight and begin workout. You will then perform 10 reps then rest. Then increase weight and perform 8 reps then rest. Then increase weight and perform 6 reps then rest. Then increase weight and perform 4 reps. Then you are done with this exercise. Tip: Feet will be close together to drive it more through your quads. Squat low enough that your knees are at least at 90 degrees. If you can’t go as low as 90 degrees then use less weight.
(I am using demo weights. Make sure that you find a weight that challenges you with good form.)
